Job summary

HonorHealth seeks an entry-level PBX operator and security dispatcher to support hospital operations at various Phoenix locations. You will answer calls, dispatch resources for emergencies, and act as a frontline customer service agent using state-of-the-art technology.

Experience in call answering or radio dispatching is preferred, and a High School Diploma or GED is required with an Associate degree preferred to advance within the team. This role may require after-hours on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• Call answering and radio dispatching experience preferred.
• Hospital operator or security dispatching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers internal and external calls and routes to appropriate resources.
• Dispatches security and hospital resources during emergencies.
• Provides information and assistance to callers using multiple software platforms.
• Documents calls and maintains security task records.
• Covers after-hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Monitors surveillance systems and coordinates with first responder networks.
• Assists in training new staff and maintaining department resources.
