Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is seeking a dedicated operator to manage the hospital's main telephone line, physician's answering service, and in-house calls. You will assist visitors, provide paging, and coordinate critical emergency communications across codes and helicopter arrivals.

The role requires prior switchboard experience in healthcare or large organizations, with preference for healthcare familiarity.

Qualifications

• Previous switchboard experience in healthcare setting.
• Answering service or answering phones at large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls on the hospital's main line and operator services.
• Provide in-person visitor information, reception, and paging.
• Coordinate emergency communications (Trauma Codes, Codes Red/Blue, NICU, etc.).
• Monitor alarm panels and participate in Fire and Disaster Drills.
• Operate hospital two-way radios and support paging needs.
