Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. invites you to join our 16-week Dining Services Manager in Training program in Ohio, designed to prepare you to oversee dining operations in a healthcare setting.

You will gain hands-on and computer-based training, learn compliance with health and safety standards, staff development, inventory management, and exceptional resident and guest service, with opportunities for career advancement within HCSG.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must obtain FPM, FSM, LTC-FSM, and CDM/CFPP certifications during the development program.
• Valid driver's license.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation, service, and quality control.
• Learn to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
