Job summary

AdventHealth in Hinsdale, IL, is seeking a seasoned construction project manager to lead healthcare facility projects from planning through commissioning. You will coordinate with contractors, architects and operations staff, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure regulatory compliance and safety throughout the life cycle.

The role requires 5+ years of healthcare construction PM experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with CAD drawings, MS Office and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in healthcare design/construction and knowledge of building codes.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, prioritize and evaluate contractor work.
• Experience reading CAD drawings/blueprints.
• Strong leadership, ethics and integrity standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organization.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook; familiar with e-Builder is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-construction activities with contractors, PMs and design consultants.
• Manage multiple projects, scheduling, budgeting and cost tracking.
• Visit job sites regularly to oversee work and quality.
• Facilitate OAC meetings to ensure information flow between teams.
• Maintain organized project files for regulatory compliance and audits.
• Interpret drawings/specifications and manage changes and safety protocols.
• Oversee transmittals, documentation and retention of plans and contracts.
• Support closeout, commissioning, trainings and warranty processes.
