Job summary

AdventHealth in Hinsdale, IL is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead pre-construction activities, review schedules and budgets, and coordinate with contractors, architects, and hospital staff throughout the project life cycle.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage multiple projects, read CAD drawings, and maintain organized project files. A strong leadership ethic and healthcare construction experience are required, with AHCA knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize and evaluate the work of contractors.
• Read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints.
• Strong leadership with high standards of professional ethics and integrity.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with e-Builder and Microsoft Project preferred.
• 5+ years healthcare construction project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-construction activities and review schedule, budget and cost during contracting.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and oversee subcontractors.
• Visit job sites throughout the project life cycle and hold OAC meetings.
• Create, maintain, and audit project files for regulatory compliance and audits.
• Maintain budget tracking forms and internal communications tools.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications; ensure safety and logistics compliance.
• Interface with contractors and hospital staff on utility interruptions and changes.
• Coordinate transmittal, documentation, and retention of plans and contracts.
• Oversee close-out, commissioning, training, and warranty processes.
