Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Practice Manager I to oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned clinics within the market.

You will implement policies, supervise staff, conduct evaluations, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining strong patient relations. In this role you will develop and monitor clinic programs and budgets, recruit and train personnel, and report to leadership with recommendations for service improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in health or business administration or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
• Minimum three to five years’ experience in a healthcare or clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the day-to-day functions of the clinics.
• Implement written policies and procedures for clinic operations.
• Conduct staff performance evaluations.
• Interpret policies to employees and patients as necessary.
• Review policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Consult with market manager and staff on operations and service improvement.
• Prepare reports and recommendations to leadership.
• Maintain liaison with patients and ensure accurate information about services.
• Develop and maintain the practice budget.
• Recruit, interview, hire and train staff.
• Ensure adequate trained professionals on duty at all times.
