Sandia Ridge is seeking an experienced Center Payroll and Scheduling Manager to oversee payroll and scheduling for the nursing center in Albuquerque. The role focuses on controlling labor spend, ensuring accurate payroll processing, and balancing staffing needs with budget constraints.

Ideal candidates have substantial healthcare scheduling and payroll experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and a proven track record in optimizing labor efficiency while maintaining patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience creating schedules in a healthcare setting required.
• Five plus years of previous work experience preferably in healthcare or long-term care with proven track record in similar position, scheduling, timekeeping, or payroll.
• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Psychology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control the nursing center's labor spend and process payroll according to policies.
• Serve as primary center contact for scheduling, timekeeping and payroll for employees.
• Balance staffing needs, schedule preferences and financial performance of the center.
• Use software to minimize overtime and agency spend while maintaining hours per patient day and salary expense within budget.
• Lead Labor Management Team to monitor KPIs and optimize clinical, financial and HR outcomes.
• Ensure nursing staff coverage at all times.
