Job summary

Onyx Health Consulting is seeking a highly organized Business Office Manager to supervise billing and collections for a skilled nursing facility in Florida. This role oversees AR, cash postings, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with home office billing for timely payments.

Ideal candidates will have experience in healthcare billing, A/R and A/P, and a business or accounting degree. Daily pay options are available and a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in skilled nursing/ long term care facility.
• Computer and collection experience
• Working knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting principles, preferably in a healthcare setting to include Medicare, Medicaid and third-party billing
• Bachelor or Associate degree from accredited college with specialization in business or accounting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility billing, accounts receivable, and collections.
• Supervise billing and collections staff.
• Work to achieve cash collection and AR goals for the facility.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with department heads to meet regulatory and reporting standards.
• Maintain Confidentiality and privacy of data.
