Job summary

The role partners with the Administrator and corporate level personnel to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to Medicaid/Medicare procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate Degree in Business preferred.
• At least three years of accounts receivable management experience in health care.
• Knowledge of AR management, basic accounting, and third-party billing.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to meet health assessment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect accounts receivable with emphasis on 90+ accounts.
• Advise corporate level on late payments and potential fees.
• Maintain delinquent account status sheets and reconciliations.
• Supervise Business Office staff and conduct regular progress meetings.
• Coordinate Medicare Part A determinations and ADR reporting.
• Balance SUM journals to billing reports monthly.
• Process Medicaid conversions and notify relevant parties.
• Prepare daily deposits and manage resident trust accounts.
• Maintain resident account authorization files.
