Job summary

Green Valley Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to deliver customer-focused admissions and marketing support within a health care setting. The role emphasizes coordination with nursing, maintenance and housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for admits and seamless patient experiences.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, problem solving, and teamwork abilities, with exposure to EPIC, AIDA, and EMR systems.

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Problem solving and decision making abilities.
Ability to work well with an interdisciplinary team.
Experience in health care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinates with nursing to prepare rooms for new admits, returning residents, and room changes.
Coordinates with maintenance to address room repairs.
Coordinates with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean.
Ensures admissions process is seamless and customer-friendly with proper documentation.
Reviews EPIC, AIDA, and referrals; ensures accurate data entry in EMR.
Collaborates with admissions director, director of nurses, and administrator to maintain census.
Adheres to Code of Conduct and participates in Quality Improvement activities.
May require some after-hours, on-call, or weekend work; facility open 24/7.
