The ideal candidate has healthcare administration experience, solid communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• 2 years of administrative healthcare experience required.
• Medical Assistant certification or medical office experience preferred.
• 1 year working with insurance authorizations, benefits verifications, and billing preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Active CPR/BLS prior to starting work required.

Responsibilities

• Manage front-end clinic operations including phone calls, patient greeting, mail handling, payments, and deliveries.
• Review and reschedule patient appointments; notify Clinical Operations Manager and nursing staff of changes; call patients for reminders.
• Process invoices and coordinate with Clinic Manager and Accounts Payable.
• Schedule follow-up infusions in coordination with the Patient Care Navigator team.
• Obtain and file medical records; ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.
• Prepare reports and maintain statistical records; assist with inventory management.
• Foster positive relationships with staff, providers, and external agencies.
• Travel to other local Vivo clinics for administrative support if needed.
