Vivo Infusion is hiring a Patient Access Specialist to verify insurance benefits and authorizations for infusion therapy patients. You will gather eligibility details, process referrals, and coordinate with payers and clinics to ensure timely access to infusion services.

The role requires experience in high-volume insurance verification, strong customer service, and the ability to handle confidential information within HIPAA guidelines.

Competenze

• Experience with major medical health insurance benefits verification, prior authorization, and appeals for infusion therapy.
• Minimum 2–3 years of related healthcare work experience.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare and commercial/private insurance benefits and HIPAA.

Mansioni

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for infusion therapy patients using payer portals and direct payer contact.
• Coordinate benefits across primary, secondary, and tertiary payers.
• Submit prior authorization requests and follow up for timely determinations.
• Manage referrals, documentation, and EMR records to ensure accurate patient accounts.
