Job summary

Vivo Infusion is seeking a motivated Clinical Service Specialist to support infusion center operations in Lancaster, PA. The role focuses on scheduling, patient coordination, benefits verification, and securing necessary authorizations for treatments across multiple local clinic locations.

The ideal candidate has healthcare clerical experience, proficiency with medical terminology, and strong communication skills to interact with patients, staff, and physicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment required.
• Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Office experience preferred.
• 1 year working with insurance authorizations, benefits verifications, and billing preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Active CPR/BLS prior to starting work required.

Responsibilities

• Manage front-end operations of the infusion center including phones, patient greeting, payments, deliveries, and mail handling.
• Review and reschedule patient appointments; call patients to remind them of upcoming visits.
• Handle deliveries, invoices, and coordinate with Clinic Manager for payment approvals.
• Schedule patients for follow-up treatments in coordination with Patient Care Navigator team.
• Collaborate with referring providers to obtain and file medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain information systems, generate requested reports, and support inventory management with Clinical Operations Manager.
• Foster positive relationships with staff, referring offices, and external agencies; travel to other Vivo clinics as needed.
