Job summary

NOR Healthcare Systems Corp. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support the Central Business Office and outside vendors, ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately, timely, and courteously.

In this role, you will handle correspondence, maintain filing systems, respond to inquiries, and uphold HIPAA privacy while delivering excellent service to patients, vendors, and hospitals. Strong English communication, multitasking, and familiarity with medical terminology are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Two years of recent customer service experience.
• Computer literacy and proficiency.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize needs to meet timelines.
• Understanding of basic medical terminology.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepares correspondence, documents, forms, reports and completes ad hoc projects/duties in a timely manner, as assigned.
• Scans information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Establishes and maintains effective filing systems, provides telephone and reception coverage, delivers and sends out mail in a timely manner, and completes all other assigned clerical functions.
• Actively engages in caring behaviors, taking conscious ownership for work and takes a proactive, deliberate, and thoughtful approach regarding work activities.
• Demonstrates independent judgement and decision making.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service at all times.
• Works with patients, vendors, and hospitals to ensure insurance information is correct and updated timely.
• Maintains electronic tracking logs as assigned.
• Maintains confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and policies.
