Job Description

Exciting opportunity to join the A Place for Mom team as an outside sales Healthcare Account Executive. You will be the face of A Place for Mom with hospitals and skilled nursing facilities in your territory and the families being discharged from these facilities. Your responsibilities include driving lead generation and move-ins to communities from your book of accounts. You should be eager to build relationships with healthcare professionals and persistent in growing each account to help more families find the care they need.

What You Will Do
  • Help families and professional referral sources in a fast-paced industry, assisting with seniors needing urgent discharge into suitable care settings or home care agencies.
  • Meet your monthly quota of families choosing a senior care option by generating qualified referrals from your market accounts.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients including social workers, case managers, and discharge planners in hospitals and skilled nursing centers within your territory.
  • Develop and expand your book of accounts to increase referral volume.
  • Network, cold call, and present services to new contacts within each account, following up on discharge outcomes to reinforce value.
  • Educate families on care options and coordinate with Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to find suitable solutions.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to meet your target family placement or hiring goals.
  • Use reports and CRM data to develop and manage your pipeline effectively.
  • Test new initiatives and provide feedback to improve tools and processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years outside sales experience with prospecting and lead generation skills
  • Knowledge of the Senior Living Industry and hospital/skilled nursing sales experience
  • Proven record of exceeding sales quotas and teamwork
  • Relationship-driven with strategic insight
  • Experience presenting to clients and overcoming objections
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment, willing to travel daily within your territory
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and CRM (Salesforce preferred)
Additional Information
Schedule
  • Fieldwork daily, including scheduled presentations, calls, and drop-ins to accounts.
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $80,000-95,000
  • On Target Earnings: $115,000-130,000+ (Uncapped)
  • Benefits include 401(k) with match, dental, health, and vision insurance, and paid time off.
