Overview
The Healthcare Sales Account Executive is responsible for exceeding their established sales goals through the creation of new clients and opportunities in Enterprise and Major accounts.
SALARY
80 - 130+ Base (160-260+ OTE) - Commissions are not capped.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the relationship between the client, Custom, and technology partners in the healthcare space.
- Manage the sales cycle, lead multiple sales efforts concurrently, and be responsible for lead generation, prospecting, qualifying, proposing, closing, and initiating services within their territory.
- Conduct frequent client meetings, sales calls, quality checks on existing business, respond urgently to client needs, and uncover new business opportunities.
- Participate actively in solution/proposal development, acting as the “customer’s voice” and advocate internally.
- Drive solution sales, promote customer satisfaction, and develop long-term business relationships.
- Identify strategic alliances and partnerships with vendors, consultants, associations, events, and key figures within the vertical market.
- Document all sales activities in the CRM database.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the healthcare market and industry regulations.
- The primary goal is to acquire new accounts and business; retaining and growing existing accounts is also important.
- Assist in developing strategies for penetrating accounts, qualifying opportunities, and winning new business.
- Meet and exceed quarterly targets by selling the full range of products and services to new and existing clients.
- Develop excellent consultative relationships with prospects, customers, and partners to generate new and repeat sales.
- Work closely with other team members at Custom.
- Develop expertise in the vertical market and technical competencies.
- Gain knowledge of the products and services offered by Custom and how to apply them to client challenges.

- Ability to start strong, with enthusiasm for hunting and breaking into new accounts in healthcare.
- Strong business development skills, excellent presentation abilities, and experience managing technical sales in complex environments.

- 2-5 years of B2B sales experience, focused on new account acquisition in a specific vertical market.
- Track record of quota attainment and closing complex deals.
- Experience in establishing business alliances and understanding competitive strategies.
