Mayo Clinic is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator to provide organizational, receptionist, and clerical support to patient care units. You will monitor supplies, answer call lights, and assist with managing orders in the EHR, collaborating with nursing staff and the care team across the continuum of care.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and experience in a medical environment. Flexibility for days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and strong keyboarding skills.
• Successful completion of HUC post-secondary program, or HUC Certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year working experience in a medical environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.
• Working knowledge with EHR systems, EPIC preferred.
• Outstanding customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Adapts effectively to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting.
• Availability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Maintains certifications/licensure per work unit requirements.
