The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Health System Specialist to serve as a full-time leader/facilitator for Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives.

The role includes training staff on improvement sciences and change management, and identifying opportunities to improve productivity across the facility. You will coordinate CPI activities with daily operations, facilitate DMAIC, DMADV, RIEs, Kaizen and other methods, and report tangible benefits and ROI.

Qualifications

• Transcript must be submitted with your application.
• Education from accredited institutions or foreign credentials with equivalency.
• If using foreign education, submit Foreign Equivalency Certificate.
• U.S. Department of Education recognizes degrees for Federal employment.

Responsabilités

• Plan, implement, and analyze a facility-wide CPI program.
• Coordinate CPI/LSS activities with day-to-day operations.
• Facilitate DMAIC, DMADV, RIEs, Kaizen, 5S, and value stream analysis.
• Provide education and training on the CPI plan to staff.
• Report ROI and cost benefits of CPI initiatives.
