Job summary

UVA Health in Manassas, VA is seeking a Performance Improvement Coach to lead improvement projects and coach leaders and staff across the organization using Lean, Six Sigma and CQI methods. You will partner with administrators, clinicians and operations teams to deliver measurable value in safety, quality, efficiency and patient experience.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field or engineering, plus a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt; Black Belt or change/project management skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field or Engineering.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt, Change Management and/or Project Management strongly preferred.
CPHQ preferred; required within 2 years of hire; RN preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead performance improvement projects and coach leaders and team members.
Facilitate CQI projects using Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management and Project Management.
Develop and deliver curriculum for process improvement training.
Collaborate with administrators, managers, and physicians to identify and support performance improvement projects.
Collect and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and monitor outcomes.
