Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking an experienced service delivery leader to manage a portfolio of health contracts, ensuring KPIs, quality, compliance and financial targets are achieved across the West Midlands region.

You will build strong internal and external partnerships, drive programme delivery, and oversee governance, reporting and risk management in line with SLAs. The role requires staff development and a collaborative, outcome-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant health field.
• At least 3 years in health or social care post.
• Demonstrable management, leadership and mentoring within a similar role/environment.
• Experience working effectively with a range of stakeholders and building relationships.
• Evidence of delivering programmes in line with contractual requirements and SLAs.
• Experience in financial management, able to scrutinise budgets and inform P&L reports.
• Familiar with business and service risk analysis and mitigating challenges.
• Recruiting and developing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficient at writing reports, procedures and policies.
• Experience delivering service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance, quality, compliance and financial targets across health contracts.
• Create links and pathways with local services and community organisations.
• Embed quality processes and procedures and ensure staff meet competencies.
• Recruit and develop teams, drive PDPs and ensure appraisal cycles.
• Oversee clinical governance, audits and reporting to commissioners.
