Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking an experienced health services manager to lead a portfolio of contracts in the West Midlands. You will drive performance, quality and compliance, align with strategy and ensure referrals meet inclusion criteria, while maintaining strong relationships with commissioners and partners.

You will recruit and develop multidisciplinary teams, oversee governance, and deliver reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Health Promotion, Public Health, Health & Social Policy, Social Sciences, or Community Development.
• Minimum 3 years in health or social care related post.
• Demonstrated management and mentoring in a similar role/environment.
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders and build relationships.
• Experience delivering programmes in line with contractual requirements and SLAs.
• Experience with financial management and reading P&L reports.
• Familiar with business risk analysis and mitigation.
• Experience recruiting and developing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Skilled in writing reports, procedures, policies, and communications.
• Experience delivering service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance, quality, compliance and financial targets across health contracts.
• Develop stakeholder relationships with commissioners, authorities and partners.
• Establish governance, policies, and data management processes.
• Recruit, develop and supervise multidisciplinary teams and PDPs.
• Oversee clinical governance, audits and service improvement initiatives.
• Provide regular reporting to commissioners and senior leadership.
