Job summary

Gateway Community & Technical College is seeking a Health Professions Work-Based Learning Coordinator to centrally coordinate clinical and healthcare WBL placement processes aligned with student pathways.

You will engage with faculty, healthcare providers, and community partners to ensure onboarding, compliance, scheduling, and workforce-readiness activities while supporting academic and career pathway navigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to coordinate clinical and healthcare work-based learning placements and onboarding processes.
• Knowledge of healthcare placement and compliance requirements (background checks, immunizations, etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple placement timelines, student records, and partner communications with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ability to collaborate with Health Professions faculty, program coordinators, healthcare agencies, and students.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical and healthcare Work-Based Learning placement processes across programs.
• Collaborate with faculty, coordinators, and healthcare partners for placements and onboarding.
• Monitor timelines, capacity, onboarding requirements, and participation processes.
• Support students with onboarding, work-based learning participation, and career readiness.
• Engage healthcare partners, coordinate workshops, and manage outreach activities.
• Maintain MOA documentation, records of placements, and compliance-related data.
• Assist with reporting and workforce-readiness initiatives.
