Job summary

The Health Plan Product Development team at Blue Shield of CA seeks a Senior Manager, Product Strategy to lead a team of product managers and consultants, shaping multi-horizon product strategies across lines of business. You will partner with stakeholders across the Ascendium family, driving initiatives from strategy to execution.

You will report to the Director, Product Strategy and contribute to leadership development, with a focus on results, continuous learning, and delivering high-impact

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or HS diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree; master’s in business or public health strongly preferred
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in people management and supervising direct reports
• Experience leading product teams to establish and execute long-term and short-term strategies
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Experience translating strategy inputs into executable initiatives across products
• Experience coordinating with stakeholders to ensure delivery of product outcomes
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and present information clearly to varied audiences
• Health plan product experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of product managers and consultants to design, develop, and deploy multi-horizon product strategies
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the Ascendium family of companies
• Translate product strategy inputs into executable initiatives for at least one product or capability
• Present information clearly and concisely to executive and cross-functional audiences
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely delivery of product outcomes
