Job summary

Blue Shield of CA in California is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Strategy to lead a team of product managers and consultants, designing multi-horizon product strategies that drive growth across lines of business. This role reports to the Director and collaborates across the Ascendium family.

This position requires strong financial and analytical skills, the ability to translate strategy into executable initiatives, and a track record of leading cross-functional teams in a health plan

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED plus 4 additional years of relevant experience; master's degree strongly preferred
• Requires at least 8 years prior relevant experience, including at least 4 years of people management experience
• Experience leading a team of product managers and/or product strategists to establish and execute long-term and short-term product strategies
• Requires strong financial and analytical skills
• Demonstrated experience translating product strategy inputs into executable initiatives across at least one product or capability
• Experience coordinating with stakeholders to ensure delivery of product outcomes
• Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
• Ability to present information clearly and concisely to various audiences
• Health plan product experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of product managers and consultants to design, develop, and deploy multi-horizon product strategies
• Collaborate cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders across the Ascendium family of companies
• Translate product strategy inputs into executable initiatives and ensure delivery of outcomes
• Present findings and roadmaps clearly to executives and cross-functional partners
• Foster high-performing teams through development and leadership
