Job summary

Novartis Group Companies is seeking an Associate Director, Health IT to partner with health systems across multiple therapeutic areas, driving HIT adoption and AI-enabled workflows. This role covers the Texas region with up to 50% travel and requires residency within territory or near border, plus a valid driver’s license.

You will lead initiatives across inpatient and ambulatory settings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 5 years in HIT/healthcare/EHR-related work.
• Experience in inpatient and ambulatory settings with clinical systems integration.
• Hands-on experience with EHR products (Epic/Allscripts/eCW/Cerner).
• Understanding of HIT landscape and stakeholders.
• Strong written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Customer-focused with leadership and coaching abilities.
• Data literacy and responsible AI utilization in workflows.
• Must reside within the Texas territory or 50 miles from border; travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify key clinical and customer stakeholders and engage at the site of care.
• Act as a trusted contact for population health and HIT initiatives.
• Regularly meet with customers to share Health IT information.
• Create and execute account plans to navigate the customer landscape.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HIT governance and care initiatives.
• Contribute to scalable, EHR-enabled tools aligned with therapeutic areas.
• Model and promote responsible AI use and continuous learning.
