Job summary

Novartis is seeking an Associate Director of Health Information Technology to partner with health systems and providers, accelerating adoption of HIT solutions across diagnosis, treatment decisions, and clinical workflows. The role spans Cardiology, Renal & Metabolic, Oncology, Immunology, and Neurosciences, combining technical expertise with customer engagement to drive outcomes at scale.

The position covers the Texas region (Houston, Austin, El Paso, San Antonio) with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years in Health Information Technology (HIT) or related healthcare experience.
• Experience in inpatient and ambulatory settings; integration of clinical systems.

Responsibilities

• Define clinical and customer stakeholders and participate in Health IT engagements.
• Act as trusted contact for population health and HIT initiatives.
• Conduct regular customer meetings to provide HIT information.
• Create and execute account plans and navigate the customer landscape.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HIT implementation and governance.
