Job summary

Novartis Group of Companies is seeking an Associate Director, Health Information Technology to partner with health systems across Texas. You will lead HIT initiatives to support diagnosis, treatment decisions, patient management, and clinical workflows.

This role requires 5+ years in HIT with experience integrating EHRs (Epic, Allscripts, eClinicalWorks, Cerner) and traveling up to 50%. Bachelor's degree is required, and you reside in Texas or nearby within commuting distance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years HIT, health care systems, EHR, or related experience.
• Experience applying HIT in inpatient and ambulatory settings; integration across care continuum.
• Hands‑on with EHR products such as Epic, Allscripts, eClinicalWorks, Cerner.
• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and identify key clinical and customer stakeholders, and participate in Health IT engagements at the site of care.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for population health/Health IT initiatives.
• Conduct regular meetings with customers to provide Health IT information.
• Create and execute key account plans for navigating the customer landscape and initiatives.
• Serve as SME to the broader Novartis Account Management team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for HIT implementation and governance insights.
• Contribute to development of scalable, EHR-enabled tools and resources.
• Model and promote responsible AI use across the team and workflows.
