HCSC Group in Chicago seeks an experienced Contract Operations Manager to lead the unit responsible for producing customer-specific documents, updating master records, and ensuring compliance with underwriting and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include staff leadership, project leadership on legislative tasks, budget and training, and delivering accurate, compliant documents across all product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years health insurance contract operations experience with at least 1 year in a management role OR 9 years health insurance contract operations experience plus 1 year in a management role.
• Knowledge of health products, underwriting requirements, contract and funding arrangements.
• Analytical and reporting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong project management, leadership, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Enterprise Contract Administration department for drafting, vetting and filing group and retail member and employer documents.
• Oversee updates to member and employer masters and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Act as project leader on special projects and legislative task forces; prepare performance management reports.
• Develop and maintain standard and custom document language and certificates with internal policies and DoI requirements.
• Mentor staff, manage budget and talent development, and ensure policy compliance across operations.
