Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years health insurance contract operations experience plus 1 year of management experience.
• Knowledge of health products, underwriting requirements and contract/funding arrangements.
• Analytical and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Project management and leadership abilities.
• Customer service experience and acumen.
• Verbal and written communication skills to manage staff and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Enterprise Contract Administration unit responsible for drafting, vetting and filing group and retail member documents.
• Oversee updates to master data and certificate language to comply with policies and regulations.
• Lead special projects and legislative task forces with effective performance reporting.
• Hire, train, coach and develop staff; manage budgets and change processes.
• Ensure policy deviations are reviewed and approved and respond to inquiries as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and corporate policies.
