Job summary

United Health Centers is seeking a Health Center Supervisor to oversee daily operations at the California clinic. You will supervise Front Office and Back Office staff, coordinate schedules, and maintain smooth patient flow while ensuring adherence to UHC policies and high service standards.

Under the Health Center Manager, you will drive process improvements, handle staff performance evaluations, and participate in hiring for frontline roles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration preferred.
• Experience in healthcare management or supervisory role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff adherence to customer service standards and quality of work.
• Proactively manages provider appointment schedules to ensure provider templates are correctly applied and ensures provider appointments are scheduled appropriately.
• Maintaining patient flow in clinic to support productivity standards and goals.
• Manage patient flow in real time to ensure patients are checked in and registered in a timely manner.
• Monitor staff performance and assist with promotions and disciplinary actions.
• Provide coaching, training and staff development in association with Health Center Manager.
• Participates in the interview process and selection of new personnel for Front Office and Back Office positions.
• Plans and evaluates working assignments to ensure adequate coverage for quality care.
• Forward notifications of site audits/visits and coordinate readiness for audits.
• Maintain direct communication with Health Center Manager with updates on issues and improvements.
• Participate in process improvement and data collection as directed by QA Coordinator.
