Job summary

Community Health Centers seeks a Health Center Manager to oversee daily operations at a health center under the Regional Operations Manager or Chief Operations Officer. The role ensures efficient patient flow, financial viability, and high-quality service aligned with CHCCC policies.

The candidate will hire, train, and supervise staff, implement practice management systems, and maintain HIPAA compliance while delivering excellent patient experiences and Lean process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of management experience in community health centers, public health or medical practice.
• Working knowledge of CPT, billing codes and programs, financial statements, HIPAA and Medical Records laws.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations at the health center.
• Hire, train, and coach staff, including in function-specific areas.
• Ensure patient flow, access, and safe, quality care.
• Monitor billing, scheduling, and adherence to policies and Lean guidelines.
• Supervise staff, review timesheets, and conduct evaluations.
