Job summary

Aon is seeking a Health Analytics Senior Consultant / Senior Data Analyst to work with healthcare data across medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision claims, supporting analytics and audit activities. You will translate complex data into insights and develop reporting and dashboards using SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience with healthcare data across medical, pharmacy, dental, or vision claims.
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel; familiarity with Power BI or Tableau; Python/Databricks and cloud a plus.
• Experience automating analytics and reporting tasks to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Ability to use AI tools responsibly with validation of outputs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex healthcare datasets across medical, pharmacy, dental, or vision claims and eligibility.
• Lead and support healthcare claims audits and analytical reviews across medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision claims, including identification of errors and trends.
• Develop analytics findings, recurring reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Streamline and automate routine analytics, audit and reporting tasks using Excel macros, templates, workflow tools, and AI where appropriate.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Engineering, Business, and Actuarial teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Document data sources, business rules, assumptions, methodologies, findings, and quality-control procedures.
