Job summary

Aon seeks a Health Solutions Actuarial Consultant or Financial Manager to join our health analytics team in key markets across the U.S. The role involves leading actuarial strategy, client engagement, and large-scale project delivery in health care settings.

You will partner with lead actuaries and consultants to deliver innovative health analytics solutions, mentor junior staff, and expand the capabilities of the health solutions practice across major accounts.

Qualifications

• ASA designation.
• 4+ years of health care industry experience (carrier or consulting)
• Project management experience
• People management/mentoring experience

Responsibilities

• Perform strategy and actuarial consulting on benefit strategy, pricing strategy, budgeting and bid projects.
• Provide actuarial client leadership focusing on outcomes, delegation, coaching and client relationships.
• Anticipate client/project needs and develop alternative solutions.
• Explain actuarial methodology and results to clients and potential alternatives.
• Participate in strategic discussions with clients.
• Lead actuarial client teams and coach team members; coordinate with broader team on jumbo projects.
• Contribute to improvement of the practice through model development and initiatives.
