Job summary

Aon is seeking an experienced actuarial consultant to lead strategy and client engagements in the health care sector, with responsibility for guiding design, pricing, budgeting, and client outcomes.

You will provide technical coaching, manage teams on large projects, and drive innovation across the practice through national model development and initiatives. This role offers a strong benefits package and geographic flexibility.

Qualifications

• ASA Designation (Or Close).
• 4+ years of health care industry experience (carrier or consulting).
• Project management experience.
• People management/mentoring experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform strategy and actuarial consulting including benefit strategy, goal setting, benchmarking, plan design, pricing strategy, budget setting, bid/selection projects.
• Provide actuarial client leadership on targeted clients/prospects focusing on outcomes and client business understanding.
• Exhibit leadership in business judgment, anticipate client needs and develop alternatives.
• Explain actuarial methodology and results to clients and discuss potential alternatives.
• Participate in strategic discussions with clients.
• Lead actuarial client teams, coach members, and coordinate large jumbo client projects.
