Job summary

Alfa Laval Technologies is seeking an experienced Welder II to fabricate and assemble metal structures to engineering specs. You will weld using MIG, TIG, flux core, and stick processes on carbon, stainless, and aluminum steels, interpret blueprints, and follow detailed procedures.

The role involves operating fabrication tools, inspecting welds, and maintaining safety standards, with opportunities to train junior welders and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience using multiple welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld procedures.
• Experience with carbon, stainless, and aluminium steels.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, flux core, and stick welding per specifications.
• Operate grinders, plasma cutters, drill presses, and other fabrication tools.
• Inspect welds for quality and dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and comply with safety policies.
• Assist in training entry-level welders and support continuous improvement.
