Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH is seeking aHeader Welder in the United States (Oklahoma) to perform welding, grinding, and assembly tasks according to blueprints and work orders. The role requires MIG/flux-core welding experience and familiarity with various torches to ensure proper fusion of metals.

The candidate should have 1 year of welding experience, read blueprints, and read a tape measure. Safety and teamwork are emphasized in a supportive, manufacturing environment with cross-training

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional welding experience.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Perform grinding, chipping, and welding using MIG, flux-core, oxyacetylene, carbon-arc, and sub-arc torches.
• Select welding wire for fusion of base and filler metals.
• Weld components to fabricate or repair according to blueprints, layouts, or work orders.
• Assist Team Lead with tasks and training others as needed.
• Crosstrain in other areas and develop new skills.
• Prioritize safety and follow all safety policies and procedures.
