Job summary

Wyoming Child and Family Development seeks a dedicated teacher to provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences and nurture positive child outcomes for birth to five years. You will collaborate with families, align activities to Head Start outcomes, and support school readiness through inclusive practices.

The role requires an associate degree in early childhood education (or equivalent) and willingness to pursue additional training.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Willing to attain additional training or certifications as required by Wyoming Child and Family Development.
• WCFD will only accept accredited degrees recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to children, families, and staff in various settings.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Create a safe, nurturing learning environment with effective classroom management.
• Use ongoing assessment data to tailor instruction and track progress.
• Maintain accurate program documentation and progress records.
• Engage families in curriculum and activities to support school readiness.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians to support individualized goals.
• Establish positive relationships with families and communicate effectively.
