Job summary

Wyoming Child & Family Development seeks a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to plan and implement developmentally appropriate experiences for Birth to Five, aligned with the Head Start Outcomes Framework. You will partner with families and support dual language learners in a nurturing, inclusive classroom.

The role requires a degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) and the ability to supervise paraeducators, assess progress, and document outcomes. Bilingual skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with 3–5 year old children and families, including those with special needs and non-English speakers.
• Strong organizational and detail orientation are required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Excellent collaboration with diverse staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services to children, families, and staff in various settings.
• Plans and implements developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Maintains a safe, nurturing learning environment with positive behavior management.
• Uses assessments to tailor instruction toward Head Start outcomes and standards.
• Maintains documentation and progress records.
• Engages families in curriculum and school readiness activities.
• Works with parents to develop individualized school readiness goals.
• Participates in screenings, referrals, and safety procedures.
• Adheres to agency policies and licensing regulations.
