Job summary

Wyoming Child & Family Development seeks an educator to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities, assess and document child progress, and partner with families to support school readiness.

You will supervise paraeducators, ensure safe, inclusive learning environments, and collaborate with staff to meet licensing standards and regulations. This role emphasizes child-centered practice and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
• Willingness to pursue additional training or certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences to support curriculum implementation and school readiness.
• Evaluate and document children’s progress and maintain accurate program records.
• Partner with families to support children’s learning as their first teachers.
• Provide supervision and guidance to paraeducators and classroom staff.
• Ensure safety and well-being of all enrolled children and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Engage in screenings, referrals, and community collaboration as appropriate.
