Job summary

Wyoming Child & Family Development seeks a Paraeducator Head Start to support children aged 3–5 in a safe and engaging classroom. You will assist the Lead Teacher in preparing materials, setting up activities, and delivering individualized care to promote social competence and school readiness.

Responsibilities include implementing lesson plans, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with families and therapists to support IFSP/IEP goals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with children 3–5 years old, including those with special needs.
• Understand developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood education principles.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate with diverse individuals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and set up the classroom with the Lead Teacher.
• Deliver direct services to children, families, and staff in various settings.
• Maintain a clean, safe classroom and complete paperwork promptly.
• Support IFSP/IEP goals with teachers, family support providers, and therapists.
• Assist with outdoor play and daily routines, including diapering and feeding.
