Job summary

Ymca Of Central Maryland, Inc. is seeking a Head Start Site Director to lead clustered Y Head Start centers and sites in public schools. You will supervise Head Start Teachers, support staff, and drivers, and ensure day-to-day operations meet licensing requirements and Head Start Program Performance Standards.

The role emphasizes program planning, family engagement, service coordination, record keeping, and ongoing supervision, with strong leadership across multi-site operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Studies, Child Development, Human Development, Human Services, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in an early learning center is preferred.
• Knowledge of OCC regulations and HSPPS preferred.
• Management of multi-center locations.
• ECERS and ITERS preferred.
• Knowledge of Computer Applications.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of clustered Head Start centers.
• Ensure OCC licensing compliance and Head Start Program Performance Standards.
• Lead planning and program implementation across sites.
• Coordinate family engagement partnerships and service delivery.
• Maintain records and reporting across centers.
• Monitor operations and supervise staff.
• Provide governance and leadership for program direction.
