Job summary

Guardians of Honor LLC in Washington, DC is seeking an energetic grants management professional to support our Office of Head Start client. The role requires the ability to travel and to coordinate multiple grants activities with a federal program focus.

You will lead process documentation, quality control, and client reporting while mentoring team members and liaising with federal staff to ensure timely reviews, funding actions, and post‑award closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in grants management, with knowledge of Head Start.
• 2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with Head Start standards and grants systems.
• PMP is a distinguishing feature.
• Strong data analytics and ability to present data clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work onsite as required.

Responsibilities

• Check-in with team members to ensure deliverables are on schedule.
• Lead process documentation and quality control, providing feedback.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and activities.
• Assign and oversee task completion of grants resources.
• Liaise with federal and contractor staff to support timely reviews.
• Assure quality and timeliness of deliverables.
• Contribute to client progress and status reports with the project manager.
• Attend client meetings to provide task progress and strategies.
• Draft new project timelines and kickoff agendas; update plans.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and stakeholders.
