Job summary

Save the Children in North Carolina seeks an Early Childhood and Development Coach to support Head Start/Early Head Start programs. You will provide coaching, training, and technical assistance to improve classroom practices and program outcomes.

The role focuses on implementing research-based curricula, guiding staff, and ensuring compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards, while collaborating with the Program Director and managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in early childhood education and two years of relevant experience
• Proven experience working with infants and toddlers and/or preschool children
• Experience in supervision and training

Responsibilities

• Coach education staff to align with school readiness goals
• Ensure practices meet program performance and curricula
• Provide training and technical assistance to build capacity
• Attend home visits and parent conferences when requested
• Monitor classroom observations and provide feedback
• Maintain ongoing communication with program leadership
