Job summary

Save the Children in the United States is seeking an Early Childhood and Development Coach to support Head Start and Early Head Start programs. You will provide training and technical assistance to classroom staff, monitor progress, and collaborate with leadership to ensure high-quality education services and compliance with program standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education with relevant teaching experience
• Proven supervision and training experience
• Strong adult learning and coaching skills
• Excellent communication with children, families and staff
• Knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards

Responsibilities

• Provide training and technical assistance to classroom staff to ensure high-quality programming
• Monitor child and teacher progress to meet program objectives
• Consult with the Program Director to resolve complex issues and ensure compliance
• Ensure safety and security of children per agency standards
• Develop and deliver coaching aligned with school readiness goals
• Oversee site tracking of screenings and data collection
