Job summary

Save the Children US is seeking an Early Childhood and Development Coach to work with the Manager, Education and Inclusion to provide technical assistance and oversight for Head Start/Early Head Start programs. The role emphasizes implementing research-based curricula, best practices in early childhood and special education, and delivering resources for staff and families.

You will train classroom staff, monitor progress, and consult with leadership to resolve issues while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in early childhood education or equivalent coursework with teaching experience.
Proven experience supervising and training staff.
Proven ability to develop consistent, supportive relationships with very young children.
Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
Experience using assessment data to drive coaching strategies.

Responsibilities

Provide training and TA to Head Start/Early Head Start staff and parents.
Coach education staff through observations and feedback to meet program goals.
Collaborate with Program Director and Manager to ensure quality education services.
Ensure compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards and curriculum implementation.
Monitor child and teacher progress to achieve school readiness objectives.
Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
