Job summary

Save the Children in Kannapolis, NC is seeking an Early Childhood and Development Coach to provide technical assistance and coaching to Head Start and Early Head Start programs, ensuring high-quality education services through a research-based curriculum and best practices in early childhood.

You will train classroom staff, monitor progress toward program objectives, and collaborate with the Program Director and managers to resolve issues while maintaining compliance with Head Start Performance

Qualifications

• Experience coaching and developing educators in early childhood settings.
• Familiarity with Head Start Performance Standards and best practices.
• Ability to provide training and technical assistance to staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and coaching to Head Start/Early Head Start classroom staff.
• Monitor child and teacher progress to ensure program objectives are met.
• Collaborate with Program Director and Managers to resolve complex issues and ensure compliance.
• Ensure safety and security of children and families while representing Save the Children.
• Maintain ongoing communication with relevant staff to support program performance.
