Save the Children is seeking an Early Childhood and Development Coach to provide coaching, training, and program oversight for Head Start and Early Head Start programs in North Carolina. You will support center staff with effective teaching practices, data-driven coaching, and collaboration with program leadership to meet school readiness goals.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in early childhood education with teaching experience.
• Proven experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers.
• Demonstrated experience in supervision and training.
• Proven ability to build relationships with very young children.
• Proven experience using adult learning methods and coaching with data.

Responsabilidades

• Lead intensive coaching for education staff and provide feedback and modeling of effective practices.
• Coordinate with Program Director and Manager to support education staff effectively.
• Ensure classroom practices align with school readiness objectives and curricula.
• Provide training and technical assistance to head start staff and parents.
• Monitor child and teacher progress and participate in IEP/IFSP discussions when needed.
• Maintain ongoing communication with education program leadership and staff.
• Ensure safety, availability of supplies, and developmentally appropriate schedules.
