Job summary

Hyundai Mobis Savannah is seeking a seasoned Team Relations Head of Department to lead labor relations, training, and business planning. You will shape strategy, guide investigations, and partner with management on union avoidance initiatives to sustain a productive workforce in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Human Resources, Business or related.
• Experience in labor and employment matters.
• 8+ yrs HR experience.
• 5 years Union Avoidance experience in a non-union environment.
• Manufacturing experience, preferably automotive.
• PC systems literate with PowerPoint, Excel and Word a must and ERP (SAP) experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• General oversight of the Team Relations Department, including setting strategy, developing and monitoring budgets, staffing, and personnel evaluations.
• Manages and directs the Team Relations Department.
• Manages, oversees, and directs all labor and employee relations matters and activities.
• Provides prompt advice to management on the full range of labor and employee relations matters.
• Develops, implements, and maintains a union avoidance strategy for MOBIS Savannah.
• Oversees internal investigations related to performance, harassment, attendance, and discipline.
• Chairs and facilitates Employee Relations and Medical Review Committees.
