Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years' experience in Human Resources or Team Relations.
• Experience in an automotive production or manufacturing facility preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal labor laws, and current HR practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong consultative, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
• Ability to be collaborative and influential.

Responsibilities

• Assist and respond to employee concerns, complaints and workplace conflicts.
• Serve as advocate and trusted advisor for Team Members in conflict resolutions.
• Conduct timely investigations including interviews and documentation.
• Ensure consistent application of company policies and standards.
• Provide objective recommendations to leadership based on findings.
• Prepare investigative summaries and corrective action documentation.
• Coach leaders on progressive discipline and performance management.
• Participate in difficult conversations and corrective action meetings.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing and the new hire process.
• Maintain highly confidential employee information and records.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and company policy.
