Job summary

Hyundai Mobis in Georgia seeks a Human Resources Senior Consultant to ensure HR systems comply with laws, manage payroll, benefits, onboarding, and headcount. You will guide management on HR issues, collaborate with legal counsel, and lead the HR team to optimize processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in HR or related field, 10+ years in HR management in manufacturing, and strong training, presentation, and data skills. Master’s degree and PHR/SHRM-CP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field
• At least 10 years of HR management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• At least five years’ experience in a large operation of 500+ employees
• Working knowledge of employment law including recruiting, onboarding, and training expectations
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
• Master's degree in human resources, business, or related field

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the strategic vision for the HR team and eliminates non-value added processes
• Writes annual goals and objectives, develops action plans, and holds team members accountable
• Oversees recruitment, onboarding, orientation, learning and development, payroll, benefits, time management, and headcount administration
• Develops and maintains legally compliant HR systems including Employment, Learning & Development, Succession Planning, and Performance Management
• Guides management on all HR issues
• Collaborates with General Legal Counsel on non-routine employment and policy issues
• Maintains the Team Member Handbook and Salaried Handbook addendum; ensures policy compliance
• Maintains HR department KPIs and reports
• Presents findings to the CEO, HR Coordinator, and other senior managers
• Develops the annual HR budget; coordinates with Accounting for local approval
• Chairs Plant’s 401(k) Fiduciary Committee; signs plan adjustments
• Collaborates with third-party vendors on 401(k) audits and benefits reviews
• Handles immigration processing and documentation
• Writes Team Member News bulletins for clear communication
• Ensures policies reflect pro-employee stance
• Maintains personnel files and document retention plan
• Performs annual internal audits of HR processes
• Represents the CEO at community functions and workforce development initiatives
